Ah, so there are two of you now? You can’t intimidate me that way. Geckos are not nice animals, and neither are PhDs. I’m able to warn you because geckos are the only lizards with vocal cords. You’d best pay attention.

Zoological fact: all the geckos you will ever see got away from their mothers immediately after hatching. The rest were eaten.

Actually, My Dear Mister Doctor Sir,

I am making it all up. This post was by my dear friend and colleague, Charles Dexter Ward. I am Feng T. Astic, the owner and director of the site. I saw that you took issue with Charles’ post, and he never reads his comments, so I just made up some gobbledygook about Edamame, or whatever it was. My Dearest Dr. Gecko, The anteaters are of the family edentate, along with many other toothless mammals such as the sloth and armadillo. Of course you might have skipped out on the fifteen minutes of the class that covered this whilst you were fondling young Miss Ethicles, your nubile lab partner. Um … aardvarks. I know that all mammals look pretty much alike, certainly to my reptile eyes, but there are subtle differences that can be detected by specialists.
